I can haz training!

This is by far the most comprehensive training for modo regarding a specific topic that I've ever had the pleasure to test. I am yet to finish the whole thing (there are only 24 hours in a day and the training is 26, Insane) and this is due to the fact that it is so full of information. It even goes beyond just rigging too which is a huge bonus. Worth every penny at 199$ but a MUST have at $149! Its like having Richard in your head for a day teaching you how the Pros rig at work. Thanks Richard for the opportunity to check it out early on and James did indeed out do him self.

This is IT guys! As modo grows so does the need for learning it's many facets. Rigging has always been something that I personally have marveled at but never really gotten into because it seemed so daunting. This series is a HUGE step forward to help with this apprehension.

As an instructor myself, I know first hand that with teaching and learning something it's not just a matter of "How?" something is done, it's equally a question of "Why?" is something done. With this series, Rich and the Luxology team have gone to great lengths to open the doors to rigging and demystify the process. One of the main goals of this series it's clear is to not leave anyone behind that wants to get into rigging. Because this is a 'learning system' it undoubtedly will scale with updates as modo grows. It appears to be for ALL levels as well so if you're like me just starting off rigging or a seasoned rigger you NEED to go get this.

Lastly, this series is aggressively priced at $149 now. This is a no brainer MUST HAVE for your modo learning. It could easily have been priced at 3-4 times more so it's even clearer to me that the primary goal here is to fill a need by the community and to teach. Great job fellas!

I can't believe it went for $150, That's just nutty.... It's like $5.76 per hour of training.

I know basic of rigging, but I love that Foundation section! I have not even done any rigging yet, but I've already learned a lot of new "Modo way" things! Good stuff!

awesome stuff man,... I'm still in the foundational vids, but this some of the best training I've seen. ..and we have some exceptional training available to the Modo community! So,.. so that's a bold statement!

..and thanks for the "showing us how to fish, instead of giving us a fish" approach, it's about time I used my head for something other than just keeping my hat round. :D

Because of that answer, I'm buying the training.
(though I'll have to wait until the last minute for banking reasons)

Thanks Richard. Downloading now and really looking forward to it. modo reintroduced 'fun' to my modeling/ texturing/rendering workflow, and I am looking forward to reintroducing the fun to my rigging workflow.

Got it and love how it's all done. Too bad I only had time to watch a little a bit before had to go to work...luckily it's almost weekend and then I will do some serious eyeballing!

Although the best I can do at this point is just add to the well-deserved praise for this training, I'll add my 2 cents.

I also tested this training as it was being produced and I learned an unbelievable amount of stuff about this app I've been using since version 101. I'd been meaning to look into learning the constraint/rigging system in Modo, and this training not only delivered big-time, but taught me a lot of useful details about features I use every day, as well as a ton of stuff I didn't even know I needed to learn.

If you want to get the most out of Modo, you need this.

If you want to learn to think like a pro rigger, you definitely need this.

I gotta watch it again.

Yeah, that is part of what really attracted me to this, it is a lot more than "just rigging," it appears to be a very good, "re-learn Modo the right way" course.

When I discovered that this little gem was out I couldn't press the purchase button fast enough. Man alive it's just brimming with 'teh good stuff'. It's turned my iPad into a dedicated Rich training machine.
