Which modo is right for me?
For artists and designers, we offer modo 601, which runs on your PC or Macintosh, at your home or at your office. If you have an earlier version, you can upgrade to modo 601. If you are part of a larger organization, you may want to consider modo Floating Licenses and Commercial Site Licenses. We also offer modo Education Licenses for Faculty and Students as well as modo Education Training Lab Licenses for computer labs. Let us help find the right version of modo for you.
modo 601 Individual License
modo is the unique, artist-friendly 3D software that combines modeling, painting, animation and rendering in a fused workflow for designers and artists working in the areas of industrial design, architectural visualization, package design, game development, film and broadcast, education and scientific studies. When you buy a modo 601 Individual License, you can use it on both the PC and Mac as we license the software to you, not your computer.

Want the latest version of modo? modo 601 offers new character animation and dynamics functionality plus retopology modeling improvements and many other new feature and workflow enhancements.
modo 601 Floating License
Graphics Studios or Design Offices can purchase modo Floating Licenses as an alternative to individual licenses or a Commercial Site License. modo Floating Licenses allow the colleagues in your work environment to “share” licenses of modo – licenses move automatically between different users on different workstations at a single company location (up to the maximum number of purchased licenses). For example, if you purchase three modo Floating Licenses, then any three of your colleagues can use modo at the same time.
modo 601 Commercial Site License
If you have a large or steadily growing number of users that need access to modo, consider getting a modo 601 Commercial Site License. Here, depending on your organizations’ overall needs, we will custom tailor a volume license solution that meets your needs both today and for the future.
modo 601 Education License
If you are a Faculty Member or a Student enrolled full-time at a qualified education institution, you can purchase modo at a special price as an alternate to purchasing a regular, Individual modo License. Choose between a Permanent Education License and an Annual Education License that includes all modo upgrades during the year. Both forms of Education Licenses are available at a significant discount, and are available to students and Faculty members who have confirmed their education status with Luxology.
modo 601 Education Training Lab License
If you purchase computer software for use at an education institution, we offer special education pricing on modo as an alternate to purchasing a regular, Individual modo License. Choose between a Permanent Education License and an Annual Education License that includes all modo upgrades during the year. You can also purchase multiple Education Lab Floating Licenses to obtain modo for a specific number of workstations. Finally, you can purchase the modo Campus Site License annually to equip your entire facility with modo.
