Cinema 4D + modo

Giulio Zanardi does 3D architectural visualizations for his company in Italy. Giulio turned to modo and Cinema 4D for this reconstruction of a mountain chalet in in the village of Tirivel in the Aosta region of Northern Italy. A brand new design was modeled in modo and then rendered in Cinema 4D. On his website, he has some amazing before and after images of this gorgeous project. Fantastico!

3ds Max + modo

Artist Chris Morris worked with Harley Davidson's ad agency to show them some different ways to integrate 3D CGI into their traditional photography workflow. The bike was modeled beautifully in 3ds Max and then imported into modo.  There the model was tweaked and quickly rendered using the modo’s advanced shader tree.

LightWave 3D + modo

Based in the Kingdom of Bahrain, artist Khalid Al Muharraqi downloaded modo to try it out. The result was this stunning Myth of the Floating Islands image. Maya + modo

Robin Konieczny is a freelance 3D artist in Whitstable, UK who was contracted to produce a model of a Griffon Vulture. The bird was used for mid to long shots in the the HBO/BBC mega-series ROME Series 2. The vulture was modeled, UV’d and textured in modo, and then brought into Maya where it was rigged and posed. XSI + modo

William Lambeth modeled this model in modo and produced the super clean geometry that was quickly imported into XSI. Then, he tapped the power of the mental ray renderer in Softimage|XSI to create the visually stunning and emotive image of the Samburu warrior seen to the right. The model was used to test fascinating new facial animation technology from Image Metrics.
