modo 501 Feature Tour
Welcome to the modo 501 Feature Tour. Please join us as we highlight some of the exciting enhancements we have made to modo, relying extensively on images and videos to tell the story. Let’s start with an overview of rendering improvements that deliver markedly faster and cleaner results.

An overview of the rendering performance and quality enhancements in modo 501 is presented by Brad Peebler. Contains several quality and speed comparisons of modo 401 to the new modo 501.
This video provides an overview of some of the new rendering features in modo 501 that are explained further in subsequent pages. Includes a nice intro to the Occlusion texture layer – a favorite of many beta testers.
