Be Together: The Bentley User Conference
Luxology demonstrated visualization features of modo 601. The Advanced Workshop MS4WK4: Setting the Scene: Going From “Blah” to “Wow” Visualizations took place on Thursday, May 17 10:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. in 109B. Designed for MicroStation users and visualization aficionados, this hands-on workshop focused on the recipe for stunning visualizations using the Luxology engine. Key topics included camera set up, materials, lighting, and adding great “ready-to-render” 3D content to produce realistic visualizations.

GDC Game Developers Conference 2012
This year at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2012, Luxology will be showcasing modo 601, the brand new version of its award-winning 3D content creation software in the Intel Booth (#1024). Additionally, modo 601 will be featured in a Unity Developer Day session entitled “Content Creation for Unity Using modo” at 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6th. Another Unity-focused modo demonstration will take place the following day from 10:30-10:55am in Unity’s booth (#1416). John Hayes, Senior Character Artist from SanZaru Games and Unity user Wes McDermott will participate in these demonstrations along with members of Luxology staff.

Luxology and modo were very much on display in both the NVIDIA booth, as part of the Sketch Match competition, and the AMD Booth, where modo was featured in the “Fire Drill” Speed Modeling Contest.
